No hat to be passed right now. Bring drinks - the party doesn't start until later so you need to have something to wet your whistle. Bring a snack. We will eat that evening but it can be a long time to evening.

I am going to TRY to get up there early, but as y'all know I have two things working against me: distance and a wife who is not unlike travelling with a cocker spaniel.
I've never been to one of Joe's deals so aside from what sounds like a fantastic time, what should I bring? Is there a hat for Joe that will be passed?

As early as you can. For me, that will be somewhere around 9:30. I think Joe is starting about 8:00 so get there when you can. I'm going out Friday to drop some guns and take the inventory so I don't get it screwed up when we start yanking things.

So far, we have $650 in MPA donations. Thanks!
I've put in over $1500 (but I started this so I would have done that anyway) and quite a bit extra in other goodies such as tubes and racks. Joe has put a bunch into it, too. He's going all out for a party like he did for his friend last time. There will be roving carts of food and beer, etc.
We have a couple of pickups full of fireworks to set up. I got three cases of salutes from Flashing Thunder, we have six or seven cakes, several cases of 2 and 2.5", a bunch of 4s, 5s, and 6s. A case of 8s. The waterfall. Plus that 'show in a box' that I just gotta see shot. Should be a great show.
